PROGRAMS  AND  ASSISTANCE PROVIDED


 I.   HOMELESS PREVENTION

This program helps people stay in their homes and actually helps families stay together. Services may include rent or mortgage assistance, help with utilities, such as electric, gas, water, and helps with transportation costs to medical or job sites. We currently serve up to 600 families annually.

II.            FOOD PANTRY

The food is purchased from the Arkansas Food Bank, from local businesses and donated from the community. We provide a week’s worth of food for over 6,000 individuals annually.

III.   MEDICAL ASSISTANCE / MEDICAL LOAN GRAM

We help people pay for medical, dental, prescription, and medication costs.  Also, through our Loan Program, we provide walkers, wheelchairs, bath aids, etc. to over 300 people annually.

IV.            CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

V.       CLOTHING PROGRAM      

Annually we currently provide free clothing for over 200 children and families from our Retail Store..

VI.            -DISASTER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM    

We provide food, clothing, and furniture for clients having experienced a crisis. We provided assistance to multiple families last year.

VII.            SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM   i.e.  VOC/TECH    

     The following is a list of the nine month courses offered at the ASU, Heber Springs, Searcy, and Newport Campuses. CCC provides up to $1,500 per semester for qualified individuals to apply towards vocational and technical training. For Information call 501-362-8486 MWF 9-3
